Able Seaman

• Working as deck crew on a ship-class floating crane: berthing, unberthing, shifting alongside vessels and mooring line operations,
• General deck maintenance on the floating crane (lubrication, cleaning, etc.),
• Assisting with mooring boat and barge towing operations,
• Providing boat services to vessels.

Position Details

• Position: Able Seaman (AB)
• Location: Istanbul (Asian side) – Pendik, Türkiye
• Employment Type: Permanent / Full-time, on-site
• Industry: Maritime
• Experience: 1–5 years
• Education: High school, associate or bachelor's degree
• Military Service (Turkish male candidates): Completed or exempt

• Graduate of a vocational/technical high school or vocational college in a related field (shipbuilding, deck department, etc.),
• Qualified as Ordinary Seaman or Able Seaman,
• Valid Seaman's Book, medical certificate and the 5 basic STCW certificates,
• Preferably 2–5 years of experience as a seaman/able seaman on vessels or in a shipyard,
• Able to handle a fast-paced work environment and flexible working hours,
• Available for shift work,
• Team player, quick learner, analytical and responsible,
• Male candidates must have completed or be exempt from military service,
• Able to operate agency / mooring boats.
